Livia and I tried our hand at some sharpie tye dyeing...and now it's all we want to do. I also got to learn some fun shirt alteration techniques.... the end result being a real rocking tee for Lex.
We hiked, picnic ed and played on the Roan Mountains.

We had such a great time visiting old friends and making new ones! We can't wait to go back in the Fall!
May 7th, Wilks and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary! He worked most of the day...so the girls and and I went out to breakfast and than Thrifting for the day...Lex bought this cool ARGH inspired skirt and belt. We all went out to dinner that evening.
This morning Lex pick the 1st strawberry and gave it to me for Mother's Day =) I shared it, of course! She also made me a flower crown, bracelet and scepter.
We had a lovely morning tending to the garden....this is a small peach on our peach tree...it's the first year we've seen fruit on it....so exciting! .
The outdoor fun extended into the afternoon as we decided to pitch our new tents and play for hours inside them =)
We decided to come in around 5ish and watch "Whisper To Your Heart".....what a wonderful way to spend this day =)
